The SC33, a new generation of furuno GPS direction sensor. Unlike magnetic sensors (fluxgate), this sensor is not influenced by magnetic engine fields, tools or wiring.
Furuno's new receivers receive position signal from the constellation of GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and QZSS satellites.
Along with the motion sensors, it determines the position with 5m of error, the true course with 0.4º accuracy, plus pitch and roll for safe and stable navigation with autopilot and radar.
