This year at nmea (National Marine Electronics Association), ICOM was awarded for the third consecutive year in the category of best Vhf maritime radio, with its M605 model.

The M605 is not just a radio. It is a system that allows the user to choose how to configure the radio with up to three stations.

Using NMEA 2000 connectivity ™, the radio can exchange GNSS, AIS, DSC call information data, radio frequency, and PGN list data on the network. NMEA 0183 /-HS position data can also be converted to NMEA 2000 ™ data for other equipment.

It has large color screen that includes night mode to easily visualize in the dark. In addition, the M605's large 4.3" TFT LCD screen offers approximately an 180 degree viewing angle.

Character icons and high-resolution functions, along with the directional keyboard and programmable keys, provide an intuitive user interface.
